AZ Alkmaar have made up for the departure of Henk Timmer to Feyenoord by signing Morocco goalkeeper Khalid Sinouh to compete with Joseph Didulica.

AZ Alkmaar have made up for the departure of Henk Timmer to Feyenoord by signing Morocco goalkeeper Khalid Sinouh.

Didulica rival
The 31-year-old former SC Heerenveen and RKC Waalwijk shot-stopper has played all his career in the Netherlands, save for last season's stay with AC Omonia in Cyprus. He will have a one-year contract at Alkmaar and is expected to challenge Joseph Didulica, another summer signing, for a first-team place. Alkmaar will enter the UEFA Cup in September's first round.
