Nomadic loanee Valente moves for an undisclosed fee after spending last season on loan at Leixões SC. Groomed at Boavista FC, the 24-year-old joined Porto at the beginning of the 2006/07 campaign. He was loaned to CS Marítimo in January of the following season before moving on to Leixões where he scored four goals in 29 league matches for the sixth-placed outfit last term.
