Coutinho, 20, has agreed a one-year contract after impressing on trial with the UEFA Cup qualifiers this week. The 20-year-old rejected a new contract at PSV due to limited first-team opportunities and will contest the NAC No1 position with the Hungarian Gábor Babos.
Early starter
In Eindhoven, Coutinho broke into the side as an 18-year-old and played the last four matches of the 2000/01 campaign as PSV clinched the Eredivisie title. NAC finished fourth in the league last season.
