PREMIUM OPTIONS
Eight-time champions OL Lyonnes kept six clean sheets in last season's competition, so record-breaking defender Wendie Renard (€6.0m) or Selma Bacha (€5.5m) could also be wise selections, along with Ana Borges (€5.5m), who has recently joined a Benfica squad keen to make an impact after missing out on last season's group stage.
Katie McCabe (€5.5m) started all 15 games of Arsenal's title-winning campaign last term, providing three assists as her club came through qualifying to set a record for the most matches played in a single edition. The Irish left-back contributed to a clean sheet against three-time champions Barcelona in the final.
Irene Paredes (€5.5m) and Ona Batlle (€6.0m) were on the opposing side in that final and should be Barcelona mainstays again, while Maya Le Tissier (€5.5m) will be relishing the opportunity to compete on Europe's biggest stage after her Manchester United team progressed through qualifying for the first time.
MID-PRICED OPTIONS
Chelsea's Nathalie Björn (€5.0m) and summer signing Ellie Carpenter (€5.0m) will look to emulate their form from last season, the former finding the net in a thrilling second-leg comeback in the quarter-finals and the latter reaching the last four with OL Lyonnes. In the group stage of Women's EURO 2025 Fantasy, Björn collected the most points of all defenders – with ball recoveries in particular boosting her score.
Maëlle Lakrar (€5.0m) is part of a Real Madrid defence that kept four clean sheets in the 2024/25 competition, while Magdalena Eriksson (€5.0m) scored twice in Bayern München's concluding group stage game at Arsenal.
BUDGET OPTIONS
Former Real Madrid captain Olga (€4.5m) got Spain's winning goal in the 2023 Women's World Cup final and will be keen to make her mark at new club Paris Saint-Germain, who also signed exciting 20-year-old Judit Pujols (€4.0m) from Barcelona over the summer. For Fantasy managers targeting lower-priced defenders with an eye for goal, Vålerenga's Sara Hørte (€4.5m) scored twice in this season's qualifying rounds.
