The UEFA Referees Committee has appointed Stéphanie Frappart of France to referee the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 final between England and Spain, taking place on Sunday 27 July at 18:00 CET at St. Jakob-Park Stadium in Basel, Switzerland.
The 41-year-old referee, an international official since 2011, has taken charge of 111 UEFA matches throughout her distinguished career. At this final tournament, she officiated two group stage matches and the quarter-final between Norway and Italy (1–2).
Stéphanie Frappart, who served as 4th official at the final of Women’s EURO 2022, said: “I'm very pleased to have been selected to referee the Women's EURO final. It's a big honour and a proud moment at the end of a wonderful tournament."
UEFA Refereeing Director, Roberto Rosetti, said: “We are satisfied with the performances of the referees at this tournament. The female referees have made a huge step forward in terms of physical preparation and the quality of officiating. Stéphanie Frappart deserves this appointment as she is a role-model for the young generation of female referees due to her professionalism and attitude on and off the pitch.”
