A last-minute penalty gave FC Lokomotiv Tbilisi an unlikely 3-2 win over FC Dinamo Batumi.

A last-minute penalty from Kakhi Gogichaishvili gave FC Lokomotiv Tbilisi an unlikely 3-2 win over FC Dinamo Batumi on Friday afternoon.

Impressive comeback
Two goals from Shalva Afkhazava, in the tenth and 35th minutes, had put Batumi in charge but David Datvadze and Suliko Davitashvili managed to level the scores for Lokomotiv before half time. With the seconds ticking away at the end of the game Lokomotiv won a penalty and Gogichaishvili slotted the ball into the net to complete an impressive comeback.

Torpedo still top
The win means Lokomotiv stay three points behind leaders FC Torpedo Kutaisi who cruised to a 3-0 win over FC Samgurali Tskaltubo, thanks to goals from Zviad Kutateladze, Andrey Poroshin and Zurab Ionanidze.

Dinamo go third
FC Dinamo Tbilisi go third after Alexander Amisulashvili and Vitali Daraselia scored in 2-0 win against FC Guria Lanchkhuti. A 1-1 draw between FC Kolkheti-1913 Poti and FC Merani-91 Tbilisi ensured that both teams qualify for the championship play-off group by finishing in fifth and sixth places respectively. Hamlet Tsivtsivadze equalised for Kolkheti just six minutes after Alexander Koshkadze had put Merani in front in the 62nd minute.

WIT miss out
FC WIT Georgia Tbilisi missed out on the championship group by a point despite beating FC Sioni Bolnisi 1-0, with David Digmelashvili scoring the only goal of the game. The match between rock-bottom FC Gorda 2000 Rustavi and FC Metalurgi Zestaponi ended scoreless.

League to split
The championship now splits into two groups with the top six competing for the title and the bottom six fighting to avoid relegation.
