Members

FC Pyunik will look to complete the double against FC Zvartnots AAL in the Armenian Cup final.

Armenian title-holders FC Pyunik are hoping to complete the double today, as they take on FC Zvartnots AAL in the Armenian Cup final.

Astonishing result
After an astonishing 7-2 aggregate win against holders FC MIKA, Pyunik now face a side with a renowned cup reputation in the final. Zvarnots will be appearing in the final for the second time in three years and with a UEFA Cup spot for next season already assured on the basis of their championship results,  they will be going all out for victory.

Previous losses
In the semi-finals, Zvarnots overcame FC Spartak Yerevan 3-1 on aggregate, to secure another attempt to win the trophy that they were denied in 2000 when they lost 2-1 to MIKA. Neither side has ever won this trophy in their history - Pyunik having lost their only previous final to FC Ararat Yerevan in 1996. The game will take place at the Republican stadium in Yerevan, which is sold out.
