Welcome to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 2026 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship final tournament!

It is a pleasure to return to this remarkable country, where resilience, pride, and genuine hospitality provide an inspiring backdrop for a competition of such importance. After the successful hosting of the WU17 EURO in 2022, it is wonderful to witness the same wholehearted dedication and passion from our hosts once again.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation (NSBiH) and its president, Vico Zeljković, whose commitment and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this event to life.

The WU19 EURO is a defining moment in the development of elite players. It stands at the threshold between youth and senior football, where potential is tested more intensely, and where the next generation of international stars begins to emerge with real authority.

That is what makes this tournament so distinctive and compelling. It is a competition not only of quality, but of maturity, composure and conviction.

Eight outstanding teams have the opportunity not only to compete for the trophy but also to leave their mark on the future of the European game. I wish them all every success throughout the tournament. May the best team win.

Vico Zeljković, NSBiH president

On behalf of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is my great honour and pleasure to welcome all participating teams, officials and guests to the European Women’s Under-19 Championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Hosting this tournament represents an important milestone for football in our country. This is the second time that Bosnia and Herzegovina has been entrusted with the organisation of a UEFA women’s final tournament, following the successful UEFA WU17 EURO in 2022, which received excellent evaluations for its organisation and hospitality.

In addition to our national team, seven European teams qualified through the final qualification rounds will take part in this prestigious competition. Matches will be played in Sarajevo and Zenica, in stadiums that symbolise the rich football tradition of our country and meet the highest organisational standards.

This tournament is a strong confirmation of the continuous development of women’s and youth football in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as our commitment to creating better conditions for young players.

We are proud to welcome you to our cities, our stadiums and our football community. We hope that you will enjoy our hospitality, fair play and the unique atmosphere of this tournament. I wish all teams great success and an unforgettable championship.
