Principado de Asturias Amateur moved into the UEFA Regions' Cup intermediate round after taking top spot in Group 2.
Principado de Asturias Amateur took top spot in Group 2 with three wins and no goals conceded.
The Spanish side will now face a two-legged play-off against the Czech Republic's Central Bohemia Amateur with a place in the UEFA Regions' Cup finals next year in Germany at stake.
Ligue Nord challenge
However, Belgium's Ligue Nord Amateur gave Asturias a run for their money throughout the group. Indeed it was a 1-0 win for Asturias in the meeting between the two sides which effectively decided the group, with Martínez Morán scoring the only goal of the game at the KW Overpelt Fabriek stadium after 55 minutes.
Defensive efficiency and ruthlessness in attack were to prove the making of Asturias, and they made their credentials plain in a 7-0 opening-day victory against Andorra Amateur, with six different players scoring, including a brace for Vázquez Garcia.
Ligue Nord made a similarly bright start with a 5-2 win against Finland's South-East Amateur, with two goals each for De Rycke and Dufoor, but their failure to break down the Asturias defence in their next fixture was to prove costly for the Belgian side.
Joy for Andorra
Andorra secured their only win of the group against South-East with a 78th-minute penalty from Portas proving decisive in a 2-1 win in Overpelt, but their luck did not hold as they lost 4-0 against Ligue Nord in their final game with Mahieu and De Broyer scoring two goals apiece.
Asturias in command
Asturias were in no mood for slacking off in their final game and once more produced a devastating display to leave South-East without a win in Group 2. Vázquez Garcia scored twice again in Bocholt, with Suárez González, Fernández Rodriguez and Martínez Morán also scoring in a 5-0 win.
