The 19-year-old Togolese, who scored 13 goals as Metz won promotion from Ligue 2 last season, has signed a five-year contract. Adebayor arrives as full-back Franck Jurietti leaves the club for FC Girondins de Bordeaux. The 28-year-old no longer featured in the plans of coach Didier Deschamps.
Metz strengthen
Metz, meanwhile, have strengthened their squad with the loan signing of attacking midfield player Karim Saci. The 26-year-old joins from En Avant Guingamp.
