Cafu earns Milan extension

Brazilian international right-back Cafu has renewed his contract with Italian champions AC Milan until 2006.

Extension signed
The 34-year-old right-back joined Milan last summer after six seasons with AS Roma, where he also won the Scudetto. His previous contract was due to expire in 2005.

Championship winner
Cafu, the only player to have appeared in three FIFA World Cup finals, played 28 games in Milan's title-winning campaign last season. He also appeared nine times in the UEFA Champions League, where the Rossoneri were eliminated in the quarter-finals by RC Deportivo La Coruña.
