Betis face Assunção absence

Real Betis Balompié could be without influential Brazilian midfielder Marcos Assunção for Tuesday's visit of Group G leaders Chelsea FC.

Hamstring tear
The 29-year-old Brazilian is to undergo tests on a suspected hamstring tear sustained during Wednesday's 3-2 defeat by Villarreal CF. Assunção supplied the cross for Ricardo Oliveira's headed equaliser on 27 minutes but failed to appear for the second half.

Numerous injuries
Assunção, who could be out for three weeks, joins Miguel Ángel Lozano, Óscar López, Luis Fernández, David Rivas and Fernando Varela on the sidelines.
