Miguel to miss Valencia finale

The 26-year-old Portuguese international right-back was forced out of training today after stretching the muscle in his left thigh and has been told to rest for two to three weeks. Miguel has been a key player for Valencia this season, making nine Primera División and five UEFA Champions League appearances. The Spanish club, who are already sure of a place in the last 16 as Group D winners, have a huge injury list including Fernando Morientes, David Villa, David Albelda, Asier del Horno, Carlos Marchena, Edu, Emiliano Moretti and Jaime Gavilán.
