FC Internazionale Milano centre-back Lúcio appears unlikely to feature in his side's UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg match against FC Bayern München after picking up a thigh strain at the weekend.
The Brazilian international sustained the injury during Sunday's 3-2 home win against US Città di Palermo. Although it remains unclear how long it will be before the 32-year-old returns to first-team action, he is rated highly doubtful for the visit of his former club – a match which midfielder Dejan Stanković will also miss through injury – on 23 February.
Esteban Cambiasso also succumbed to a thigh problem against the Rosanero which is expected to rule him out of Wednesday's Serie A trip to Bari, but the Argentina midfielder should recover in time for Sunday's home encounter with AS Roma.
