SSC Napoli have agreed a deal with Club Estudiantes de La Plata to sign Colombian forward Duván Zapata on a long-term deal.
The club made the announcement via their official website, with president Aurelio De Laurentiis saying: "We are bringing Zapata to Naples. The player is arriving in Italy to undergo medicals."
The 22-year-old Colombian Under-20 international was an América de Cali youth product and arrived in La Plata in 2011. He went on to score 19 times in 44 league games for the Argentinian club.
Serie A runners-up last term, Napoli have been busy in the transfer market following Edinson Cavani's €64m move to Paris Saint-Germain FC, bringing in goalkeeper Pepe Reina, defender Raúl Albiol and midfielders José María Callejón and Dries Mertens as well as the eye-catching €37m signing of striker Gonzalo Higuaín.
The Partenopei will find out their opponents in the UEFA Champions League on Thursday when the group stage draw takes place in Monaco.
