Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool are both hoping to get back on track after UEFA Champions League defeats when they meet in Germany on Matchday 3.
Last match
The teams' only previous meetings came in the 1972/73 UEFA Cup first round, a 2-0 home win for Liverpool – Kevin Keegan and Emlyn Hughes getting the goals – followed by a 0-0 draw in Germany as the English club went on to lift the trophy.
Frankfurt are without a win in four games against Premier League clubs (D2 L2), losing 1-2 on aggregate to Tottenham Hotspur in last season's UEFA Europa League quarter-finals (1-1 a, 0-1 h).
