The 29-year-old Tokic, capped 18 times by his country, has a contract until 2007 with an option for a further 12 months. Also arriving, on a three-year deal, is 25-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina left-back Sasa Papac from FC Kärnten, as well as 30-year-old Dutchman Delano Hill who joins for four years from SC Hansa Rostock in Germany.
High hopes
Austria needed new faces after the departure of centre-back Rabiu Afolabi to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. General manager Peter Stöger said: "All three can help us reach our goals next season. First, of course, is the title and then maybe to defend the cup we won last season. The other is getting into the UEFA Cup group stage." Austria will begin in the second qualifying round of the European competition next month.
