FC Internazionale Milano midfielder Thiago Motta faces around a month out after tearing his right thigh muscle during Sunday's Serie A victory at Cagliari Calcio.

European dates
The 27-year-old Brazilian has impressed for Inter this season following a summer switch from Genoa CFC but now faces a spell recuperating from injury after picking up the problem during the Nerazzurri's 2-1 triumph in Sardinia. Brazilian Motta is expected to miss the UEFA Champions League Group F games against FC Rubin Kazan and FC Dinamo Kyiv having made his European debut for the Nerazzurri in last week's goalless home draw with former employers FC Barcelona.
