Coach: Luis Enrique

The ex-Barcelona and Real Madrid player won nine trophies during a hugely successful three-year spell in charge of the Blaugrana then coached Spain to the EURO 2020 semi-finals and the 2021 Nations League final. Key player: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

The mercurial Georgian winger was named Champions League Player of the Season for 2025/26 after lighting up Paris' path to a second successive continental title with ten goals and six assists. Still only 26, the forward arrives in Paris having scored the World Cup final winner for Spain, adding to his UEFA EURO 2024 title. The former Valencia and Manchester City man – he was a Champions League runner-up with the latter – spent the last five years at Barcelona, scoring 65 goals in 207 appearances and winning three La Liga titles.

Where to watch Paris' games

One to watch: Maghnes Akliouche

Born on the outskirts of Paris, it seemed inevitable that the 24-year-old schemer would find his way back to the capital after three outstanding seasons with Monaco. Equally comfortable threading passes as carrying the threat to opponents, the France international appears a perfect fit for Luis Enrique’s attack-minded and wonderfully fluid outfit.
