Hampered by injuries
The 31-year-old striker arrives for an undisclosed transfer fee and has agreed a two-year contract. Peeters joined Millwall during the 2003/04 campaign, playing 20 matches that season for the second-tier team. However, foot and ankle injuries limited him to five substitute appearances over the following two terms.
International talent
Prior to these problems, Peeters had been a consistent performer for K. Lierse SK in Belgium and Roda JC and SBV Vitesse in the Netherlands. He was rewarded with 13 international caps between 1998 and 2002.
