🌍 Travel to Munich

If you are a citizen of an EU country, you can enter Germany with your national ID card or passport.

If you are a non-EU citizen, you require a passport and may need to apply for a Schengen Visa.

Independent travel via plane, train or private car 🚗✈️

If you're not part of a charter group, here's some advice when making your own travel arrangements:

By plane✈️

Munich Airport (MUC) is a major international hub and commercial flights from / to Milan are regular. S-Bahn travel from MUC to Munich city centre on matchday is included in your match ticket.

Remember to travel light without check-in luggage and don’t bring a bag larger than A4 size as it won’t be allowed inside the stadium.

By car 🚗

If you're planning to drive to Munich, make use of one of the 38 Park + Ride locations in and around Munich to avoid unnecessary delays searching for parking spaces in the city.

One such option near the stadium is the P+R parking area Garching-Hochbrück. Note that you cannot pre-book your parking space here.

Stadium parking is very limited and strictly for pre-registered cars only. Registrations will open soon.

By train 🚄

Another option from Milan is to travel by train, with journeys taking 7 to 8 hours. Check out the Deutsche Bahn website for connections.

Charter coach to Munich 🚌

If you're part of a charter group and travelling to Munich by coach, you will be taken to the Inter coach parking in Garching (📍 Google Maps), which is just a short metro ride from the stadium.

From here, just hop on the metro line U6 which takes you straight to the Inter Fan Meeting Point in Odeonsplatz. If your coach arrives late in the day, make your way directly to the stadium.

✅ You can bring banners or flags that are a maximum of 2m x 1m and flagpoles that are a maximum of 1m long and 1cm in diameter.

⚠️ Banners / flags between larger than A3 also need B1 fire certification.

A service will be available at the turnstiles to make banners between A3 and 2x1m flame-retardant if required. Keep in mind this may cause delays and there’s no guarantee it will be possible for every flag/banner.
